Illustrative infrastructure view. Not a live status report.
Your domain, website, email and enquiries are connected. When one piece fails, the rest often follow — quietly.
Nobody noticed the renewal — or the card on file failed.
The domain no longer points anywhere. Customers see an error.
Your addresses depend on the same domain. Messages bounce.
Forms, confirmations and replies silently stop arriving.
Missed orders, missed customers — from one overlooked renewal.
The fix is rarely dramatic: know what you own, who controls it, and when it renews.
Behind a website and email address is an entire collection of services that need to work together.
Your business address online.
Connects that address to your website, email and other services.
Where your website and applications operate.
How your business communicates.
Helps receiving systems verify legitimate mail from your domain.
Helps protect your website and accounts.
Recovery options when something goes wrong.
From an email setup to a complicated recovery: we start with what's happening and recommend the right level of support.
Professional branded mailboxes, aliases, groups, forwarding, devices, signatures and permissions.
Investigate why customers aren't receiving messages, whether from a mailbox, website or automated system.
Understand ownership, connect services, manage records and plan changes without unexpectedly disrupting email or your website.
Set up, configure and, where technically possible, move websites to suitable hosting.
Investigate broken, corrupted, unavailable or compromised websites and explore realistic recovery options.
Assess the incident, contain it where possible, investigate, clean or restore and improve protection.
Reduce avoidable risk with updates, access controls, scanning, SSL and sensible configuration.
Set up appropriate file and database backups, retention and restore checks — not just a checkbox in a control panel.
Assess what can realistically move away from a legacy email, hosting, domain or web provider.
A practical review of domain, DNS, email, website, security and access with a prioritised action list.
Ongoing help with core services, with the work and coverage agreed in the support plan.
A domain-based address looks professional and gives your business more control over its communications.
We can set up mailboxes, shared addresses, aliases, groups, forwarding, user permissions, signatures and desktop or mobile access — or help migrate from a previous provider.
Your business, your domain
We help configure and administer the platform that fits your business. Licensing is separate from our work.
For businesses using Microsoft's productivity tools.
For businesses who prefer Google's ecosystem.
OPTYMISED is not affiliated with Microsoft or Google.
Plan the move around your mailboxes, users, domain and the systems that already send messages on your behalf.
We review existing messages, contacts and calendars where supported, shared addresses, forwarders, authentication and DNS. Migration complexity and what can be preserved depend on the existing provider and available access.
*Where supported by both providers.
Missed messages can mean missed opportunities. We investigate the underlying configuration before recommending a fix.
We also investigate incoming mail missing, outgoing failures, bounce messages, incorrect DNS, mailbox settings, spoofing or compromise concerns, and domain reputation indicators.
The records behind your domain help receiving systems decide whether a message is genuinely from your business.
Helps tell receiving email providers which systems are authorised to send mail for your domain.
Adds a digital signature that helps verify a message came through an authorised system and wasn't changed along the way.
Sets instructions for messages that fail relevant checks and can provide reporting about use of your domain.
That's our job.
We configure the infrastructure and explain what matters in normal English. Correct configuration supports authentication and deliverability, but nobody can guarantee that every email avoids spam — providers consider many factors.
Your domain connects your website, email and other services. Treat it as a business asset, not somebody else's login.
An old developer, employee, agency or hosting company may still control it. We can help establish who owns it, where it's registered, who has access, when it renews and what depends on it.
Where appropriate, core services should be registered to the business itself.
DNS directs your domain to the services your business uses. Wrong changes can affect your website and email at the same time.
We plan and check changes to website, email, app, subdomain and verification records so services point to the right place.
Records may include A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT, including SPF, DKIM and DMARC. You don't need to know which one is which.
The right setup should suit your website, its traffic and the people who need to manage it.
We review access and dependencies first. A move can cause temporary disruption and depends on what's available from the current provider.
Understand current hosting and access.
Secure available files and databases.
Configure the new environment.
Move the website where possible.
Check key functionality.
Point the domain to the new location.
Check the website after migration.
If your site is redirecting, showing strange pages, unavailable or locked, tell us what you're seeing. We'll assess what's possible with the access and backups available.
Understand what happened.
Limit further impact where possible.
Preserve relevant existing data where appropriate.
Review files, users, software and configuration.
Remove malicious content or restore a clean backup where possible.
Address vulnerable components where appropriate.
Improve access and configuration.
Watch for further problems.
Recovery depends on the compromise, available backups and access; not every site or deleted file can be recovered.
A failed update, plugin conflict, database, hosting, DNS or SSL issue, expiry, deleted file, development error or malware could be behind the problem.
Identify the underlying cause before suggesting a repair.
Restore an appropriate backup, repair the configuration or migrate where practical.
When recovery isn't practical, explain the options for replacing what was lost.
Reduce avoidable risk and establish sensible recovery options before they're needed.
Updates, access control, malware scanning, monitoring, login protection, permissions, SSL and backups all play a part. No website is 100% hack-proof.
A backup only matters if you can recover from it. Consider files, databases, content, configuration, frequency, retention and restore testing.
SSL/TLS certificates encrypt the connection between visitor and site. We can help with setup, renewals, redirects, domain validation and mixed-content issues. SSL alone doesn't secure an entire site.
A slow website can lose customers. We can investigate images, hosting, caching, database, plugins, front-end performance and CDN setup where suitable.
Ongoing checks where available can cover availability, SSL, domain expiry, backups, performance indicators, security alerts and critical errors.
If something goes down tomorrow, knowing who controls your domain, email, hosting and backups makes a difference.
Where supported, set up multi-factor authentication for email, domains, hosting, CMS and cloud services, with appropriate recovery methods.
Review former employees, developers, agencies, contractors, old administrator accounts and shared passwords. Remove unnecessary access where appropriate.
Document providers, renewal dates, administrator roles and backup arrangements with a secure management approach. Don't put passwords in ordinary documents.
Access can also include your registrar, hosting, email, website, DNS, analytics, advertising accounts, social profiles and third-party systems. Use individual accounts and appropriate controls wherever practical.

We'll identify what's working, what needs attention and what should be prioritised — in language you can use to make decisions.

Who controls what and how it's recovered
Poor support, rising costs, missing logins or a supplier who controls everything? First, find out what can actually be moved.
We can assess domain registration, email ties to hosting, website access and dependencies, then explain realistic options if your current provider has disappeared or your business wants to modernise.

Different suppliers may control different pieces. We can help simplify, document and manage the environment you depend on.
Regular attention can catch issues before they become a bigger interruption. Support is scoped to what is actually included in your plan.
A straightforward process built around the issue, not a pile of technical jargon.

What we'll explain
Clear costs
Domain registration, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace licences, hosting, security, backups or paid software.
Our agreed setup, management, migration, repair or support work.
We explain relevant provider charges rather than hiding them in unclear pricing.
No one can promise 100% security, zero downtime, guaranteed inbox delivery or recovery of every hacked website or deleted file. Our work is to reduce risk, improve configuration and restore systems where possible.
Need urgent technical help?
Tell us what is affected and mark your enquiry as urgent.
Tell us what you're trying to set up or what's currently not working. You don't need technical terminology — explain the problem in your own words.
Whether you need business email, DNS help, new hosting, a provider migration or help recovering a broken or compromised website — tell us what's happening and we'll help identify what needs to happen next.
